Guest guest
I'm assuming you eat a vegan diet. Do you take supplemental B12? If you don't, you definitely should. All vegans need to ensure an adequate intake of B12, as it is not available from a vegan diet. Defiiciency can take years to manifest but when it does, it commonly results in neurological problems. You can take shots to get your blood level back up to normal quickly, but it's easier to use a patch or sublingual tablets. They work well too. Deborah The recent discussion about dietary restrictions helping RA has me wondering if any of you have tips or experience related to neurological disorders? I'm not sure what I've got, but since May I've had trouble with my balance and my legs just give out under me. I've got painful tingles in my hands and feet, sometimes going up my arms and legs, a dreadful headache that comes and goes and visual issues. I see a different color out my left eye than out my right, but nobody knows why. Nobody can explain any of this and I'm really getting sick of tests and people implying that I'm just crazy or something. If any of you know of things I should or shouldn't be eating I'd be more than willing to give it a try and report on my results. Rhonda .
