Guest guest
I think I've really got a great thing going with my vegan, gluten-free diet--I'm a great cook, have researched and found delicious recipes, I feel terrific on this diet--but THEN, I get a craving for something that's not good for me and I'll give in to it. That leads to a (usually short) binge on other foods that are not included in my usual diet. This just happened again yesterday. Most often, I feel sick after I indulge and the memory of that feeling (crravings and binges) ever stop? Sierra
Guest guest
Hi Sierra; My own experience with cravings has been quite varied. I never had a single craving for meat after I gave it up, but I craved dairy for YEARS. That did eventually fade out. I did without chocolate completely for 2 years but my cravings for it only got worse! At that point, I decided I had to learn how to be moderate about it, so I permit myself to have one ounce of chocolate per day. That works for me. Your own experience may also be quite individual.
