Guest guest
Barrie, how about a liquid form? I took that for awhile, and it was fine. It's a simpler formula than solid forms. An even healthier solution though is eating more green veggies.... Nature's Ideal source of calcium. :-) Deborah I just need to find a calcium citrate in capsule form (can't digest the tablets) that is GF, in case anyone knows of one. Barrie . Guest guest
What brand did you use of calcium citrate in liquid form? I've never seen any that didn't have some sort of sugar/sweetener in it. I eat as many green veggies as I can. I no longer digest them well, so now that is a modest amount. As a post-menopausal celiac woman with osteopenia, my calcium requirements are far greater than the amount of green veggies I could possibly eat in a day, even with a digestive system that has not been compromised by more than 50 years of undiagnosed celiac disease. Kale, for example has about 55 mg calcium per cup, so I would have to eat about 22 cups of kale per day. That's really not doable. Plus, celiacs often don't assimilate nutrients well from food alone, so that's not necessarily the healthiest solution for everybody. Barrie > > Barrie, how about a liquid form?
