Guest guest Posted May 21, 2008 Report Share Posted May 21, 2008 Satay Sauce 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter 1 small red chilli, finely chopped 165 ml (5 1/2 fl oz) can coconut cream 8 teaspoons GF kecap manis (see Note) 4 teaspoons lime juice Place peanut butter, chilli, coconut cream, kecap manis and lime juice in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, for 3 to 5 minutes or until combined. NOTE: Kecap manis is a hick sweet soy sauce. If you can't find a GF version, try mixing GF soy sauce with a sweet syrup. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
