Guest guest Posted May 21, 2008 Report Share Posted May 21, 2008 Classic Parsley Sauce 30 g (1 oz) vegan margarine 8 teaspoons GF flour blend pinch ground nutmeg 1 1/2 cups soy milk 1/2 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves salt and pepper, to taste 1. Melt margarine in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and nutmeg. Cook, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes. 2. Gradually whisk in milk until combined and smooth. 3. Cook, stirring, for 3 to 4 minutes or until slightly thickened. 4. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Stir in parsley. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
