Guest guest Posted May 13, 2008 Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 Satay Sauce Use as a marinade for tofu, as a dipping sauce, or with tofu slices to make a satay tofu pizza (no cheese required and very yum). 4 teaspoons olive oil 1 onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic, crushed 1 cup peanut butter, smooth -OR- crunchy (your choice) 8 teaspoons wheat-free tamari 1/3 cup sweet chilli sauce 4 teaspoons brown sugar one 270 ml can (9 fl oz) coconut milk 1. In a saucepan or fry pan saute onion and garlic until cooked through. 2. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. 3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
