Hi there,

I remember not so long seeing something about Maca powder. Does anyone remember

seeing a recipe to make coffee from using Maca.

I can't seem to find it?

Alison.

Hi Alison,

I have actually been a member of this group for a while, but had gotten so

inundated with everything that I was d to-that I missed out on this

great list.

I just opened this email and was drawn in about the Maca Powder you were

referring to. I have read about maca throughout the years, understanding that

medicinally it is terrific for issues such as chronic fatigue, hormonal

imbalance/menstruation problems.

I did a quick google search under Maca Powder and found there is indeed a Maca

coffee substitute, and the powder form can be mixed into smoothies, etc.

I may just order some!

Good Luck,

Sheryl

Hi Sheryl,

I have read many great nutritional facts about this peruvian " superfood " .

One indeed, that it might have benefits to the balancing of hormone levels. And

I think it

also helps to increase energy levels too!

I started taking half a teaspoon in a glass of milk once a day. It has a really

nice malt

flavour. I added it to my cup of decaf yesterday morning, and it wasn't bad.

Definitely worth trying.
