Guest guest Posted April 21, 2008 Report Share Posted April 21, 2008 CROCKPOT BAKED APPLES #2 Source: Chet Day (adapted) 8 apples 1/3 cup raisins 1/3 cup chopped pecans 1/3 cup Sucanat (or date sugar) 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 2 tbs vegan margarine (may omit) 1/2 cup apple cider 1 tbs lemon juice Combine raisins, pecans, and Sucanat. Peel top 1/3 of apples. Remove and discard cores. Fill cavities with the raisin/pecan mixture. Place in crockpot. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg; dot with vegan margarine.
