Guest guest Posted March 17, 2008 Report Share Posted March 17, 2008 Tartare Sauce 3/4 cup vegan mayonnaise 8 teaspoons lemon juice 4 baby gherkins (cornichons), finely chopped 8 teaspoons chopped, drained capers 8 teaspoons chopped dill 2 green onions, trimmed, finely chopped salt and pepper, to taste 1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. 2. Stir in 8 teaspoons water. 3. Taste and season with salt. VARIATION: Add 4 teaspoons Dijon or wholegrain mustard if you ike. Makes about 1 cup.
