Originally posted by Amy. 3 potatoes, peeled 1 carrot, peeled 1 to 2 cups water (I used the water from the potatoes and carrot) 1/2 cup nutritional (savoury) yeast flakes 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 Tbsp (6 tsp) chicken-style seasoning 1 tsp salt 1 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder 8 to 10 additional potatoes 1. In a sauce pan, cook 3 potatoes and carrot until soft. In a blender, blend all ingredients (except additional potatoes)thoroughly. Add additional water if necessary to keep blender going. 2. Clean and peel the " additional " potatoes and thinly slice or shred. Mix these potatoes with the blender sauce and put in a large greased casserole dish. 3. Bake in 325 F (163 C) oven for 45 to 60 minutes. -------- COMMENTS - I make this regularly, however, the potatoes never seemed to cook properly so I now boil the sliced potato until it is almost cooked.
