Guest guest
I had my family's version of " stir fry " for dinner here just last night. Here's what we do. I cook up some brown rice, and any frozen veggies I think the family might want (or I heat up leftover cooked veggies). I also open a can of beans--any kind--and heat them up. Then I gather any nuts, seeds, sprouts, or raw veggies my family likes, and get out the bottle of wheat free tamari. Last night I put out: scallions, sliced into small pieces cucumbers, peeled, sliced, and quartered onions, chopped baby carrots raw cashews bean sprouts celery, cut up tomatoes, diced canned sliced black olives canned garbanzos (we like these right out of the can, not heated) You can use ANY fresh veggies. This is a great way to use up that last bell pepper, or the last carrot in the bag! Anyone who wants to can sprinkle the tamari over their selections. YUM! My family loves this--even the ultra fussy ones--because they can choose only the items they like. Marilyn **************Ideas to please picky eaters. Watch video on AOL Living.
