Italian dressing

Italian dressing is great marinade for veggies, or mushrooms before grilling, broiling, sauteing, etc. You can also mix it with soy sauce for a differentflavor. I don't know about the dried stuff but I think it could also be usedlike this after being mixed up according to the directions. Then there is the obvious - salad dressing! or dressing for any raw veggies thatappeal to you. KrisPS I think that is all the ideas that come to mind, and excuse me if I amrepeating anything said earlier. I haven't had time to keep up with my maillately. If all else fails give the stuff away or hide it at a friend's and telldad you used it all up <G> --- "Keely :)" <me wrote:> > 2) Packets of dried Italian dressing (ya know. Alongside the ravioli I served up a simple salad with this dressing.

Personally, I would leave out the dill (I'm not overly fond of dill)

and replace it with chives. All the same it was really tasty. I made

it in the food processor and it came out really creamy.

Italian Dressing

1/2 cup olive oil

8 tsp red wine vinegar

1 garlic clove, crushed

2 tsp chopped fresh oregano

3 tsp chopped fresh basil

2 tsp chopped fresh dill

1/2 tsp sugar

salt and pepper, to taste

Whisk together all ingredients in a jug.
