Mango and Strawberry Jam

 

 

750 g (26 1/2 oz) strawberries, halved

1 medium (about 500 g / 17 3/4 oz) mango, chopped

1/2 cup lemon juice

4 cups sugar

 

 

1. Combine all ingredients in large pan, stir over heat, without

boiling, until sugar is dissolved. Simmer, uncovered, without

stirring, about 30 minutes or until jam jells when tested.

 

2. Pour into hot sterilised jars; seal while hot. Store in fridge for

up to 1 month.

 

Makes about 3 1/2 cups.
