Guest guest Posted February 8, 2008 Report Share Posted February 8, 2008 Orangeade 1 cup sugar 3 cup) water 1 cinnamon stick 2 teaspoons grated orange rind 4 cups strained fresh orange juice 2 teaspoons citric acid 1. Combine sugar, water and cinnamon stick in large saucepan, stir constantly over heat, without boiling, until sugar is dissolved. 2. Remove from heat, add orange rind, cool to room temperature. 3. Strain sugar syrup into bowl through fore cloth. 4. Stir orange juice and citric acid into syrup, refrigerate until cold. Makes about 8 cups.
