It is often served with pita bread that has been basted with olive oil. The bread is then dipped in the mixture. It has a variety of uses. You can use it on rice, veggies - the possibilities are endless with dukkah! 3/4 cup sesame seeds 1/2 cup roasted chickpeas 1/4 cup hazelnuts 1/2 cup whole coriander seeds 2 tablespoons (6 tsp) cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black peppercorns 1. Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C). 2. On a baking sheet, spread sesame seeds out on a single layer. Roast in oven for about 2 minutes each side. Remove from oven and set aside. 3. Place chickpeas and hazelnuts on same baking sheet and roast in oven for about 3 minutes each side. 4.Remove and combine with sesame seeds. 5. Combine all ingredients and grind in food processor for 2 to 4 minutes, or mash with mortar and pestle until ground. 6. Serve with a small bowl of warm olive oil and pieces of GF pita bread.
