Have anyone had issues with being anemic due to gluten? If so, how long

did it take for your iron level to return to normal after removing gluten

from your diet.

My mother-in-law was severely anemic her whole life until about 3

years ago when she finally found a doctor that figured out she had

Celiac. To test the idea, since tests can be unreliable, they chose

to take gluten out of her diet for 3 months, just to see. At the end

of one month, she noticed a difference. By the end of three, she felt

a lot better. It took about 4-6 months for her iron levels to be

completely normal.

I believe that everyone is different. This time frame may not be the

same for you.
