I made the Tofu " Turkey " Roast from the files. Made it last year and it came out

perfectly. This time, the " turkey was not as doughy. Adding more arrowroot and

agar helped some, but the consistency is not there. I plan to bake it a bit

longer and hope it comes out. Can someone tell me what I might do differently

next time?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Danielle,

Did you use the same tofu this year as you did last ? The tofu should

be very firm. The one I use is actually called " hard " tofu.

I hope it comes out ok for you.

Hi Kim,

I now realize that the store changed the brand of tofu that they carry. This one

is more than 1 pound to the box. I used 2 boxes so there was more tofu this

time. It is " extra firm " tofu, 18 oz I think. I thought it came out different

than last time, but edible. My husband had 2 helpings plus a piece of pie. So I

guess it was ok. For Christmas I will make sure that I measure the tofu better.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

Thanks again,

Danielle
