Roasted Chickpeas

This recipe was posted some years ago to another group. The only

problem is that the poster never included the oven temperature. I did

try this recipe and it was delicious but the chickpeas were still a

little soft so they could probably use a longer cooking time.

 

 

Roasted Chickpeas

 

 

one 400 g (14 oz) can chickpeas

2 tbsp (8 tsp) olive oil

2 cloves garlic

1/2 tsp cumin

a pinch of chilli powder

 

 

Drain, rinse and dry the chick peas. Lay on tray in a single layer,

stir with oil and garlic.

 

Roast them in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove from oven, dry

on paper towels and then toss them while hot in the cumin, chilli and

salt and freshly ground pepper.

Thanks BL. Is the cooking time the same? Many of the recipes I've seen

call for 35 - 45 minutes.
