Guest guest
I'd like to make stuffing this year from homemade bread. Any ideas about how to dry out or toast bread cubes made from a GF baguette? I thought about toasting them in the oven, but I do not know how long or what temp. I'd hate to ruin them! Guest guest
Hi Barbara, To make gluten free bread crumbs, I cube (or crumble) gluten free bread and spread it on a cookie sheet. Place in a low temperature oven (about 200 degrees F). Stir occasionally. Remove from heat when the desired amount of dryness is reached (several hours). I've found that homemade bread cubes work great in recipes usually calling for traditional bread cubes. If you wish to season them, you can do it before drying in oven or afterwards. Hope this helps, LaDonna On Nov 15, 2007 7:13 PM, drbhare <drbhare wrote: > I'd like to make stuffing this year from homemade bread.
