Guest guest
Are vitamins, tylenol, aspirin, etc. gluten free? I read that fillers are used in prescriptions that can contain gluten. What about vitamins? I have diagnosed myself with a gluten allergy. Doctors have not been able to diagnose what has been causing my pain and discomfort in my mid section of my stomach. It was by accident that I discovered, after eating some crackers and my stomach in pain within 20 minutes, that maybe I was allergic to wheat gluten. I have been free of pain and bloating for the past two days, but am afraid to take vitamins until I know the answer. Thanks for your help. Guest guest
Most prescriptions use cellulose (plant fibre) these days, more often than note from corn or trees. Very rarely to the use wheat because it's more costly. Of course generic alternatives are the most likely to be safe because they are designed to be budget friendly. Tylenol, Motrin and advil are all gluten-free but becareful with things like liquigels because they may not be vegan.
