Guest guest Posted October 22, 2007 Report Share Posted October 22, 2007 Pasta with Asparagus and Sage Butter 375 g (13 1/4 oz) GF dried tagliatelle pasta 125 g (4 1/2 oz) vegan margarine, chopped 1/3 cup fresh sage leaves 2 bunches asparagus, sliced pinch ground nutmeg salt and pepper, to taste shaved vegan parmesan cheese, to serve 1. Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water, following packet directions, until tender. Drain. Cover to keep warm. 2. Melt margarine in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add sage. Cook for 2 minutes or until crisp. Transfer sage to a plate lined with paper towel. 3. Add asparagus to pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes or until just tender. Add nutmeg.
