Guest guest Posted October 22, 2007 Report Share Posted October 22, 2007 Pears with Choc-Hazelnut Sauce 4 brown pears, peeled 2 cups unsweetened apple juice 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup vegan chocolate hazelnut spread 1/3 cup non-dairy milk 8 tsp roughly-chopped roasted hazelnuts 1. Place pears in a large saucepan. Add apple juice, 2 cups of cold water and vanilla. Bring to the boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes or until pears are heated through. 2. Meanwhile, place hazelnut spread and milk in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until mixture is smooth and heated through. 3.
