Guest guest
Would anyone here be able to donate a laptop to a young lady trying to start her own business. I am looking into starting a Vegan Market, if God wills! This is not a scam, I just need one good laptop that can be taken with me during my travels & research. It will not be sold for money, used for any ill will or given to anyone else. I cannot afford to buy, rent or finance anything at this time. I have $0.00 to my name, I have this great idea, ideas on who I will purchase the wholesale foods, fruits, herbs, seasonings, vegetables, drinks, blenders, juicers, utensils, Vegan Pet Food, etc. from. I would need information about grants, donations and other advice from anyone. I have so many friends, family and acquaintances who are sick, have passed on or knows people who have passed on from diseases which could have been prevented if they had eaten right and used preventative methods. People try to eat right, but what's the use if they go into a regular grocery store and find two or three vegan items and the rest of the store is closing in on them with all these scrumptious looking/smelling animal foods, processed foods, garbage, etc. that they are used to eating. The grocery store will also have vegan recipe books, health audios, books,Cd's, occasional speakers on health & diet, etc. at my customers' request. If anyone can help me to get this market up and running in or near my town, have any contacts or can assist me in a free grant proposal writing/composing a business plan please contact me. I'm just trying to serve my fellowman in the line of work where my heart is. My great-grandmama had diabetes, my mom got fibroids removed a couple of years ago, my grandfather has had a stroke and high blood pressure, my aunt's husband is in his 40's, has high blood pressure and had a life threatening stroke three weeks ago, my friend's 16 year old niece has diabetes & her mother had diabetes, suffered a heart attack, went through open heart surgery and passed on in August, my friend just passed on last week after being diagnosed with having fibroids at the age of 36 and my list of this and everyone else's can go on and on. I feel like I need to do something! I know the saying is true, " you can bring a camel to the water, but you can't make them drink " ! I at least want to bring people to the water, ya know? I was recently attending school to become a Pharmaceutical Technician, but my heart just wouldn't let me go through with it knowing what I know about the harmful effects of those medicines that mask and suppress sicknesses & diseases. Although the course was paid in full for free by the government, with my knowledge of natural foods and medicines I couldn't show up at that class one more day! It upset me to see that my teacher who is a physician also, skipped around the subject when I asked him if he knew about herbs and if he knew about Ayurveda which is an ancient system of healthcare still practiced in his home country of India! He did not want to discuss anything other than brand names, trade names and generic names. He can be a part of falsehood, but I CAN NOT!!! Guest guest
I understand where you are coming from but to change people's eating habits will be hard work, especially since Vegan/Healthy foods are soo much more expensive. E.g normal white flour pasta is about $1.50 and pasta made from maize is $6.95 where I live. Honestly poorer people will continue to suffer because they can't afford the better stuff. There are some people that believe in prescription medicines alot and would not like to try alternative medicine. I tried to stay away from the drugs but I had serious menstral cramps. I use hot tea and the hot water bottle but the pain was too much. Unfortunately I had to take pain killers and I felt like if I was poisoning myself. I wish I could help you but I can't at this time. Good luck in your quest. Naimah <naimah1118 Tuesday, October 16, 2007 3:02:05 PM Assistance/Advice/Encouragement for Vegan Market???
