Guest guest Posted July 30, 2007 Report Share Posted July 30, 2007 Balsamic onions 150 ml (5 fl oz) olive oil 450 g (1 lb) red onions, peeled, sliced 2 tbsp (8 tsp) brown sugar 20 ml (4 tsp) balsamic vinegar 1. Heat oil over low heat, add onions and cook very slowly, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes. 2. Add sugar and allow to caramelise slightly.
