Guest guest Posted June 28, 2007 Report Share Posted June 28, 2007 Garlic Beans 1 kg (35 oz) green beans 1 red capsicum (bell pepper), finely chopped 2 tablespoons (8 tsp) olive oil 1 clove garlic, crushed 4 tsp lemon juice 1. Top and tail beans, cut in half lengthwise. 2. Bring pan of water to boil, add beans, cook 15 minutes or until just tender; drain. 3. Combine beans, capsicum, oil, garlic and lemon juice. Serve hot. To microwave: Cook beans in shallow dish with 1 tablespoon (4 tsp)water, covered, on HIGH 10 minutes. Proceed as above. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
