Guest guest Posted June 28, 2007 Report Share Posted June 28, 2007 Sheila's Fat Pats (adapted to gluten free) 3 cups water 1/2 cup oil 6 Tbsp. nutritional yeast flakes 3 Tbsp. chicken style seasoning, vegan 1/4tsp sage 1 onion, chopped fine 2 cloves garlic, minced 3/4 cups walnuts or pecans chopped 3 cups quinoa flakes Simmer first 7 ingredients for 15 minutes. Add the nuts. Bring to a boil. Add the quinoa flakes and mix well. Turn off the heat and let stand long until they cool down so you can handle them. Make into patties and place on a cookie sheet or baking stone. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, turn patties, and bake 15 minutesor so more, until they are brown.
