Guest guest
S'Cream Beans Source: It's Your World Vegetarian Cookbook (adapted) 1 1/2 C. dry great northern beans or navy beans 1 tsp. salt 1 medium onion, chopped Some parsley & a bay leaf 1/2 tsp. thyme 1 c. soy milk 1 c. tofu sour cream parsley Soak beans; cook beans; add salt, onion, seasoning, cook til well cooked. Drain most of the water. If you don't have too much water to drain it is better so that you don't lose the seasonings. Add Tofu sour cream and soymilk to the beans - thus sour cream beans or " S-cream beans " . They are good on toast for breakfast, on rice or noodles for lunch. You might even hide a baked potato under them.
