Guest guest Posted June 25, 2007 Report Share Posted June 25, 2007 Penny's Vegeburgers (adapted to gf) 4C water 1/2C gf soy sauce or liquid aminos 1/4C oil 1/4C nutritional yeast flakes 1/4C sesame seeds, ground 2t garlic powder 1t sage 1T sweet basil 1C pecan meal or finely chopped walnuts 1 finely chopped onion Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add 4 C rolled quinoa flakes. Stir and let sit covered for 5 minutes. Form patties on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350* for minimum 30 minutes or longer to darken. For variety, may add shredded veggies, crumbled tofu, mashed potatoes, leftover carrot pulp, etc. An additional 1/4 cup ground flax may be used for additional binding.
