Guest guest Posted June 23, 2007 Report Share Posted June 23, 2007 Braised Celery Source: Recipezaar. 1 celery and leaves 1 teaspoon chicken-style stock powder 1 ounce (30 g) vegan margarine 1 cup boiling water ground black pepper salt (if required) 1. Clean and chop celery into 1 inch (2.5 cm) pieces. 2. Blanch the celery for 1 minute in boiling salted water. 3. Drain and place in a greased casserole with the margarine and good grinding of pepper. 4. Mix the chicken-style stock powder in the cup of boiling water until dissolved, then pour over the celery. 5.
