Guest guest Posted May 19, 2007 Report Share Posted May 19, 2007 Fruit Juice Kissel (Russia) Source: Encyclopedia of European Cooking 1 (English) pint (19 fl oz) (568 ml) fruit juice 1 tablespoon (3 tsp) potato starch 4 oz (115 g) sugar Strain the juice, mix a little with the starch until well blended, then gradually add the rest. Put into a saucepan, add the sugar and slowly bring to the boil, stirring all the time. Pour into little dishes to be served individually.
