Guest guest Posted May 19, 2007 Report Share Posted May 19, 2007 Coffee Kissel (Russia) Source: Encyclopedia of European Cooking (Veganized) 2 tablespoons (6 tsp) ground coffee 1 (English) pint (19 fl oz) (568 ml) water 1 (English) pint (19 fl oz) (568 ml) milk substitute 2 oz (55 g) potato starch 4 oz (115 g) sugar soy cream Add 1 pint boiling water to the coffee, let it stand for 5 minutes and strain. Blend the starch with 1 cup milk and add the coffee. Heat the mixture in a saucepan with the sugar and the rest of the milk, stir well Mid bring to the boil.
