Walnut Sauce (Russia)

4 oz (115 g) shelled walnuts

1 clove garlic

1/2 teaspoon salt

pinch cayenne pepper

4 oz (115 g) spring onions

1 gill (5 fl oz) (140 ml) vinegar

2 tablespoons (6 tsp) chopped parsley

 

 

Crush the walnuts and garlic together. Add salt, pepper and finely

chopped onions. Mix well with vinegar and sprinkle with parsley.
