Guest guest Posted May 18, 2007 Report Share Posted May 18, 2007 Pommes de Terre Sautees (Saute Potatoes) (France) Source: Encylopedia of European Cooking (veganised) 6 medium potatoes 4 oz (120 ml) oil salt black pepper I the potatoes in their jackets in salted water. Remove them and, when they are cool enough, peel off the skins gently. Put the oil in frying pan and when sizzling hot, put in the potatoes, cut into rounds about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick.
