Guest guest Posted May 17, 2007 Report Share Posted May 17, 2007 Alachofas de Jerusalem al Gratin (Jerusalem Artichokes Au Gratin) (Spain) Source: Encyclopedia of European Cooking (adapted) 4 cups diced boiled Jerusalem artichokes mushroom sauce (Bechamel with mushrooms added) (see files) 6 oz (170 g) breadcrumbs 2 oz (55 g) melted vegan margarine (-OR- oil) Butter a baking dish. Place the artichokes in it. Pour the sauce over- the artichokes. Fry the breadcrumbs in margarine till golden and sprinkle over. Heat in a moderate oven.
