Guest guest
Hi! in vegan with a vengeance there is a great sausage crumble recipe, I've used it in cooking classes with great success. Use it on pizza, lasagna, gravy, what ever. It's sooooo good: 1 (8oz) package of tempeh 1 Tablespoon fennel seed 1 teaspoon dried basil 1 teaspoon dried marjoram or oregano 1/2 teaspoon dried sage 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons tamari 1 tablespoon olive oil juice of 1/2 lemon In a small pan, crumble the tempeh and add enough water to almost coer it. Over medium high heat, simmer the tempeh until most of the water is absorbed, about 12-15 minutes. Drain the remaining water and add the rest of the ingredients and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. --- snowdrift52003 <snowdrift52003 wrote: > Is there a good vegan fake sausage out there? > > Sierra > > " The animals of the world exist for their own reasons.
