Guest guest Posted May 5, 2007 Report Share Posted May 5, 2007 Water Chestnut & Sesame Dip 227 g (8 oz) can sliced water chestnuts, well drained 1 cup thick plain soy yogurt 2 to 3 teaspoons grated fresh ginger, to taste 1 tablespoon (4 tsp) mirin (sweet rice wine) 1 teaspoon sesame oil 2 1/2 tablespoons (10 tsp) sesame seeds, toasted coriander (cilantro) leaves, to garnish 1. Pat chestnuts dry on paper towels, Finely chop and place in a bowl. Add yogurt, ginger, mirin, oil and 2 tablespoons (8 tsp) sesame seeds. Mix well to combine. Cover; chill until needed. 2. Transfer dip to a serving dish, sprinkle with remaining sesame seeds and coriander (cilantro). Makes 2 cups to serve 4 - 6. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
