Guest guest Posted May 1, 2007 Report Share Posted May 1, 2007 Gnocchi with Sage Butter 5OO g (17 1/2 oz) fresh potato gnocchi (see Files) 80 g (3 oz) vegan margarine, chopped 1/2 cup small sage leaves 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg 1 tablespoon (4 tsp) finely chopped chives salt and pepper, to taste l. Cook gnocchi in a large saucepan of simmering salted water, following recipe directions, until just tender. 2. Meanwhile, melt margarine in a large frying pan over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add sage and walnuts. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in nutmeg. 3. Drain gnocchi (see tip, right) and add to frying pan. Return to medium heat.
