Guest guest Posted April 17, 2007 Report Share Posted April 17, 2007 Cottage Cheese Source: Lifestyle Centers of America 4 cups tofu (water packed, extra-firm) 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 3/4 cup tofu sour cream (see recipe in files) 1/8 tsp. citric acid powder (Vitamin C) 2 Tbsp. chives or parsley, dried Squeeze excess water out of tofu by pressing tofu block between hands. Crumble tofu in a bowl and add seasonings. Add citric acid to prepared tofu sour cream. Stir into tofu mixture. Garnish with chive or parsley or stir in with other seasonings. *1 - 2 Tbsp. lemon juice can be used (to substitute for citric acid) but the product will be softer.
