Guest guest Posted March 19, 2007 Report Share Posted March 19, 2007 Sweet and Gooey Parsnips Source: Recipezaar (veganized) 1 lb (450 g) parsnips 2 tablespoons (8 tsp) vegan margarine 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg salt & freshly ground black pepper 1. Scrape or peel the parsnips, then cut them into sticks about the size of your little finger. Dry them well with a paper towel. 2. In a heavy 10-inch skillet, melt the margarine; add the parsnips shaking to coat. Sprinkle with nutmeg, cover tightly, and sauté on medium heat for about 5 to 10 minutes.
