Guest guest Posted March 17, 2007 Report Share Posted March 17, 2007 Cardamom Apples 125 g vegan margarine 6 apples, thinly sliced 1/2 cup white sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cardamom 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves thick vegan cream, to serve 1. Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons of margarine in a frying pan over medium heat until sizzling. Add one-quarter of the apples. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes each side or until golden and tender. Set aside. Repeat 3 times with remaining butter and apples. 2. Add sugar, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves to frying pan. Reduce heat to low. Cook, stirring, until sugar dissolves. 3. Increase heat to medium-high.
