Guest guest Posted March 12, 2007 Report Share Posted March 12, 2007 Bok Choy with Sticky Asian Dressing 1/2 cup GF soy sauce 1 tablespoon (4 tsp) olive oil 2 tablespoons (8 tsp) brown sugar 2 tablespoons (8 tsp) sweet chilli sauce I teaspoon ground allspice 8 baby bok choy, halved lengthways 1/4 cup salted roasted cashew nuts, roughly chopped 1. Combine soy sauce, oil, sugar, sweet chilli sauce and allspice in a microwave-safe jug. Microwave, uncovered, for 3 to 5 minutes on HIGH (100%) power, or until reduced by half (dressing should be consistency of thickened cream). Set aside. 2. Wash bok choy and place into a freezer or storage bag. Twist top to secure. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on HIGH (100%) power, or until bright green and just tender. 3 Drain bok choy. Arrange on a plate.
