Guest guest Posted March 8, 2007 Report Share Posted March 8, 2007 Red Kidney Bean Burgers 1 teaspoon oil 1 onion, diced 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 small red capsicum (bell pepper), diced 750 g (26 oz) can red kidney beans beans, drained 1 cup fresh GF breadcrumbs 1/2 cup tomato paste 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary spray oil 1. Heat oil in a saucepan. Fry onion, garlic and red capsicum (bell pepper) for 3 to 4 minutes until tender. 2. Process beans in a food processor until finely chopped. Spoon into a large mixing bowl. 3. Add cooked onion mixture, breadcrumbs, tomato paste and rosemary. Season with salt and pepper. Mix to combine. 4. Shape mixture into 6 patties. Place onto a greased baking tray.
