Guest guest Posted March 3, 2007 Report Share Posted March 3, 2007 Carraway Cabbage 1 kg (2 1/4 lb) white cabbage, trimmed 1 cup milk sub 2/3 cup raisins 1 teaspoon carraway seeds salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste chopped fresh mint 1. Remove the hard core from the cabbage. Shred leaves finely. 2. Place in a large pan with milk sub. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Blend in raisins, seeds and seasonings. Drain off any excess milk sub. Serve sprinkled with mint as a delicious meal accompaniment. Serves 4.
