Peanut Butter Pie

Source: 3ABN

 

1 pound (1 ½ boxes) silken tofu

¾ cup peanut butter

½ cup honey(or sweetener of choice)

¼ cup water

2 teaspoons vanilla

1/8 teaspoon salt

 

Blend all ingredients until smooth. You will probably have to work with it,

since it’s very thick. Pour into a pre-baked pie crust (if desired) and

freeze. Before serving, set out to thaw for a few minutes, then cut into

individual servings. Serve with Carob Syrup.

 

Carob Syrup

 

1 cup water

¼ cup date pieces

1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch

1/8 teaspoon salt

1-6 ounce can apple juice concentrate

1 tablespoon carob powder

1 teaspoon vanilla

 

Blend all ingredients until very smooth and thicken on stove, stirring

constantly.
