Guest guest
Sesame Broccoli Source: 3ABN 1 head broccoli (or 3 small stalks, but into bite-size pieces) 1-2 cloves garlic, minced Water Salt to taste About 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil Toasted sesame seeds to garnish Heat a little water in a wok, frying pan, or electric skillet and saute garlic until fragrant. Add broccoli, and more water as necessary to create steam. Cook until just tender and water has evaporated. You may have to watch it closely and stir often so it doesn’t burn. Be careful not to overcook and let the broccoli turn a drab green. If you do have water that didn’t evaporate during the cooking process, drain and set aside to use in soup or some other recipe. It’s full of good vitamins. Drizzle toasted sesame oil over the broccoli and stir. Place in a serving dish and sprinkle generously with sesame seeds.
