Guest guest
Hi Charleen, Actually if you are going to eat cooked food it is helpful to eat plenty of raw foods with it. If I eat something cooked after being all raw I feel pretty yucky. Tired, stuffed up, sometimes bloated and gassy. Tracy
Guest guest
When one eats the raw diet, isn't it bad to mix raw and cooked. I learned that the enzymes and the way your body digests raw is different of that when digesting cooked foods. Your body needs to make more acid to digest the cooked, and the cooked has no living enzymes in it anyways. I learned it is not good to mix the two. I also notice after eating raw for about 2 weeks, I ate a cooked vegan meal with tofu, I had terrible terrible gas pains, this would tell me the above could possible be true. I am new at raw, please correct me if what I learned is wrong. Thanks Charleen faytk wrote: Hi Sierra, I have eaten a mostly raw diet over the last year and a half. It is amazing how different you feel. I teach people to add more raw into their diets. I don't tell people they have to go 100% because you will feel so good just adding more and more in. I wish you the best of health. Tracy Rawesome Living > I've been doing a lot of reading lately about the raw food diet.
