Guest guest
Okay, if we're sharing chili recipes, I have one. It's a completely no-brainer recipe, adapted from the one in the McDougall Quick and Easy recipe book. I make a large pot of chili by using an organic spagetti sauce, canned organic beans, and spices (red pepper, cumin, and hot chili powder, to taste). You can add diced green peppers, celery, or onions to it, but we don't because dh doesn't like them. We add a can or two of white corn. And I serve it with corn chips, cornbread, or tortilla chips. I THINK we use two cans of beans (pinto, red, or kidney--any combination) to a jar of 365 sauce from Whole Foods, and multiply that as needed, but use your judgement as to how " beany " or " saucy " you like your chili. You can also add veggie crumbles to make it meaty. Just heat and serve! My family LOVES this! Marilyn
