Guest guest Posted January 8, 2007 Report Share Posted January 8, 2007 Pesto 1 bunch fresh basil 1/4 - 1/2 cup olive oil 1 clove garlic 1/2 cup nut meal (pine nuts, sunflower seeds, pecans, macadamias, cashews, almonds salt to taste Remove the leaves from the basil and place in a food processor. Process to a paste adding a little olive oil if required. Add the garlic and salt. Place in a bowl and stir through the nut meal. If it is too stiff add a little more olive oil.
