Buckwheat Bake

 

 

1 packet (250 g) (9 oz) Orgran Buckwheat Pasta

1 cup nutritional yeast

1/2 cup GF flour

2 1/2 cups water

2 tsp mustard powder

1/4 cup wheat-free tamari

1tsp freshly ground black pepper

1 large tomato, thickly sliced

 

 

Cook the pasta as intructed on the packet. Drain and place in a

casserole dish. In a saucepan dry roast the flour and yeast for a few

minutes. Slowly stir in the water and keep stirring until the sauce is

smooth ans starts to thicken. Remove from the heat and add the

seasonings. Stir well then pour onto the pasta, gently mixing

everything together. Place the frshly sliced tomato on top. Place in a

preheated 180 C (375 F) oven and cook for 30 minutes.
