Guest guest Posted December 31, 2006 Report Share Posted December 31, 2006 Jewel Fruit Sauce Source: 3ABN 1 12-oz. can Old Orchard apple strawberry kiwi or apple raspberry juice concentrate (may use other brands; any fruit juice combo of choice; pineapple is great) 1 12-oz. can water 1/3 c. tapioca granules 4 - 6 c. frozen or fresh berries - such as chopped strawberries, raspberries or blueberries 1. Soak tapioca in juice concentrate and water for at least 15 minutes. 2. Cook mixture on low heat, stirring occasionally with a whisk, for approximately 45 minutes, or until tapioca is clear. 3. Remove from heat and stir in fruit. This sauce is WONDERFUL served warm or cold over waffles, pancakes, french toast, bread or peanut-buttered toast. M-m-m-m!
